Yes thats correct for a desktop - but not for a notebook. With a notebook, if you buy integrated graphics, you cannot add a graphics chip later. The mainboard will be different for integrated graphics.

You can Upgrade/Replace the Integrated Graphics card, Just Open it up see if you have any pci-E slots or anything if so upgrade, just disable the Integrated or onboard chip on the bios or so.

This is only for the XPS M1730 with the 8700M GT GPU. The 8800M GTX for this laptop costs $1000+ so save up.

No. Integrated graphics are just that - they are ingetrated onto the mainboard. Your mainboard will be slightly different to those with a graphics card/chip. Ingegrated graphics can not be removed and replaced, unless the entire mainboard is swapped out.
