I think Dave said it was a loose wrist pin. But I'm not 100% on that. I know before me and my Dad replaced the inline six in a '82 Chevy truck. that it had a loose wrist pin that sounded just as bad.

they started fi in the seventies but it never caught on, around 87' is when they put into mass production the cars in the 70's they only made a few thousand of them
