Most of the other sources said the F1 ran the time at 7:45. The only place that had a time close to that was wikipedia.Besides,like the other guy said the Viper ACR had the rev limiter on, knocking out of gear and driving the hell off the road. With no rev limiter and a competent driver it would have a considerably faster time.

Too bad the Viper doesnt come with ABS.... he may not have gone off the cliff if it had ABS.

I cannot thank you enough for that find. He was driving the hell out off it, bouncing of the limiter and accidently knocking it out of gear twice. Yet he still makes 7:22. Thank you!

Motor trend has a video on their website of the new 2009 ACR doing a record setting time of 7:22 on the Nurbugring.That's better than the Pagani Zonda and the Nissan GTR who got a time of 7:27 and 7:29 respectively.And the car the Viper beat wasn't European or Japanese, it was the American 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1. Two American tractors that can't turn just claimed 1st and 2nd place in one of the most toughest circuits in the world.American cars can't steer my ass!
