no, submachine guns are WAYY different to machine guns, just cause it has the same 2 words in its name, the SMG is not a subclass of machine gun. It runs on a way different system, i have no time to show how wrong you are. but, the definition of machine gun is any fully automatic weapons that ONLY fires rifle bullets or grenades, chambered for different it is no longer a Machine gun. Smg is any fully automatic gun firing only PISTOL rounds, or rounds shared with pistols.
