I've got the old Mac Version 1 of Photoshop. It was actually version .064 or .084 something like that if anyone has old Macs to play with it.

I think the most you could do for CS3 is go to "Window > New Window," and then on the new window of the document, go to "View" menu, and toggle between "Outline, Preview, and Pixel Preview."
