The bass line is midi. Mark King is playing bass guitar over the top of a keybord bass line. That is all I said. Its called the truth.

He might have his have his bassline doubled by keys but the song would not sound the same without his bass. I'm not sure what the point of your comment is, are you implying that the guy can't play? I hope not because that would not be a very accurate statement. The guy is a world class player; one of the best.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the bass line is a Midi backing track done on the keyboard. He is just playing over the top of it, like a glorified karaoke if you will. He could stop playing and say "look mum no hands!" and bass line would still be going Dat dada dat dada dat ect ect.
