Well friend you are mixing culture with religion and these are two different things. Its hard for a society to get rid of its cluture totally and the adopt religion perfectly. by the way which muslim country you are talking about..take care

i live in a muslim city and i dont see that happening...compare the rape quantities of the east and west....america has the most cases of rape more than any other country of the world...and it is not muslim

Covering up doesn't even work. As I said, only a very small proportion of rapes are carried out by strangers, and most of those are pre-planned and against vulnerable people - disabled, homeless, drug-addicts, etc. It's a myth to think that covering up will protect you from anything. It doesn't.
And it is ethically wrong to argue that victims should hide away to avoid being attacked anyway.

It's much better if men and women just mix naturally and if we are brought up to see bodies as many things not just sexual. That creates healthier, more wholesome attitudes on all sides.

I blame both. The hijab and the segregation of the sexes and excluding women from public life including politics and the legal system encourages this and it also means that they get away with it and the women get the blame.
