He reminds me of ALEX LIFESON of Rush, not in that they sound alike or have similar styles obviously, but they are both fundamentally sound , creative guitarists that are simple, not doing overly technical stuff But the sound of both of these guys is VERY unique and profound. An excellent mix of Power and Precision ! theres Nothing Gibbons is doing here that is complicated or fancy, its just in your face hardcore Power , an amazing Blues Rock Hybrid mix that sounds INCREDIBLE !

I agree, Gibbons is HUGELY underrated. Still one of my favorite guys to ever pick up a guitar.

Gibbons guitar tone is Raw, simple, Loud and sounds so powerful, this is an amazing unique hard driving fusion of Rock and Blues, what an incredible guitar sound ! Gibbons tone and guitar sound is the heartbeat and core of the zz top sound. This man is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time, hes amazing
