yah x1300 sucks, mine is even the XGE, not really "Extreme Gaming Edition," and i even over clocked the over clock and it still cant get half-way decent in Crysis! seems like ATi took the 9250, added some technologies to the GPU and then over clocked it with a good cooler and slapped on some 512MB DDR2 and not GDDR, DDR.

i dont have to use driver cleaner right? ATI's website says uninstall, restart then install new ones
stupidguyaabbcc (July 10, 2008 at 5:28 pm)
dont u have to buy the cleaner?
Konfleik (July 9, 2008 at 9:46 pm)
uninstall with the ati utility, restart, use driver cleaner and clean all about ATI, restart again and finally install the drivers.
Is recommended install driver cleaner to delete remnants of old drivers.

ok someone help. i want to update my drivers for a ATI visiontek x1300 pci card, i have 6.4 drivers, and want the new ones (8.6). If i un-install all the old ATI stuff with the uninstall utility, do i have to boot up back in safe mode or can i boot up regulary and just install the new drivers? |
