goback3spaces: As you say, it's mostly a matter of taste when it comes to rating movies as "best" or "worst". To me, a movie is bad when it's pretentious and sets out to cheat the audience (the recent remake of "Prom Night" is a good example of "bad"). "B. D." might not be to everyone's liking, but to me it comes across as honest; something the director wanted to do and accomplished. Of course, it's foolish to compare it to Hitchcock's work: there's no comparison (despite DePalma's "homages")

I worked on this set during taping. It took 2 weeks to shoot this 81sec. (I was a electrian's grip) I always look to see if my shadow is in there.. It is not..
