I, for one, am amazed. Very few prop generators would be able to handle that kind of wind without a major malfunction. I really think that these types of designs are the future because they can handle a high wind event and can be reinforced from two sides.

Exactly what kind of guard would you have on it? It uses WIND!!!! It needs an unimpeded path to the turbine. A guard would IMPEDE!!! Dipshit.
