hmmm, from what I heard is that the GPU uses their streaming processors (which are many ofcourse) to render the physics, but ohwell I haven't tried a physx-game, soon I will..

The 8800gt does not have a physics processor, so all the work is split up between cpu and gpu.(I think)

nvidia has bought ageia physx. you know the 8, 9, and the 200 series have many processors, these processors can easily manage the same deal as the PPU once did.. the newer driveres make use of those processors to USE the physx, not emulate them..

higghigghigghigg07 - well at that config I think it should run really nice on high details (maybe even 55-60fps). I have a Core2Duo, 2GB RAM ddr2, 9800GT 512MB and Warmonger runs at about 45-50fps. In very complex scenes the fps rate drops to about 30 (you know - lots of stuff flying around = lots of physics = lots of CPU/GPU stress). Cheers :)

But as good as the real thing and they have that many cores left ova it can do it that is why the 8 9 and 200 series can do it and nothing older.

No is doesnot have a physx processor, just emulation.

I have this card myself bu i dont know if I can run this game on 1680x1050
