I love this game. I actually originally played the Game Boy Advance Remake of it, and saw videos of the Playstation Version on Youtube.... I like how they have fully animated anime cutscenes in this one, but the sprite animation in Lunar Legend is really top notch! I love this song. I'm a Japanophile, but I actually slightly prefer the English version over the Japanese one. It just fits with the tune better...

best RPG ever, hands down, i personally do not know of another game that allowed you to get to know each character so well, that you could kinda call them out as friends.

If they continued to make games on Saturn, it could have been even worse.

this game is awesome and the intro makes me cry

yea if they made a movie, (preferably a miyazaki style anime movie) I think it would become one of the greatest movies ever...

that was an awsome game they need to remake it again, and or make a movie about it.
A movie based on this story would own all other mythical movies including lord of the rings.

To further clarify, the reaosn why Vic Ireland hated Stolar was due to Sega snubbing them at the CES. Plus, Sega had a "thing" against RPGs at the time. Actually, steve Race, former SCEA president, once was quoted that "An RPG would never show up on the playstation". He was canned and FF7 came out...so you know who was right.
Basically, Ireland didn't like the fact that they weren't given a table at CES or that Sega wouldn't let them bring out every single RPG they wanted, so he bolted.

Such a fanboy comment. Do you know why it was on the PlayStation in the first place? I'll tell you right now to save you the trouble if you don't.
Lunar was put on PlayStation was because Vic Ireland hated Bernie Stolar's guts (long-standing feud between the two). When Stolar went to SEGA, Ireland turned an about face and brought stuff to the PlayStation. |
