Jojo is a true original. Though you can certainly hear the Velvet Underground in his early stuff, he took the sound and made it his own. As his sound continues to grow and change, he still proves that there is nobody like him. He is funny, warm and sincere. His acoustic RocknRoll/flamenco style of guitar is as idiosyncratic as he is. I saw him a few months ago and I'm still wowed. People throw around the word "genius" quite a lot. In this case it's true.

Don't you think, that Linguini from Ratatouille is so obviously modelled after Jonathan in his appearance? He's a real genius. But in this case I'm confused. I love listening to his music, He is a great songwriter and a great performer, this song is great (worthy of his greatest) - but for me, this video sucks. I guess, he is true and honest, but this clip is pathetic. But, on the other hand, I think music like this can stand well alone without confusing visuals anyways.
