the ONLY possible explanation I can muster is that the German audience could not relate to them being all-American girls..(as if they could change to title)......but yes,geez they could have at least "table danced"..lol. I'm surprised they didn't at least sway to the music a bit more since it was being taped...the audience looked more suited for a Barry Mannilow concert,no?

Agreed! Top of the Pops, Soul Train, AB, and every other audience seemed to not mind the playback, they danced,clapped,screamed, shouted, climbed the stage, had cages, go go dancers and every damn thing else because they loved being there with the artists & the music... hell if it was danceable, those audiences danced! lol.
