lol 50% huh? hahaha summer is over da north pole is still there. and honestly, it will probably still be there...years from now. why change OUR life for earth? we have modified the EARTH to accomodate ourselves. that's how its always been that's how it always will be. the US government and NASA is actually within a program to create an artificial atmosphere by releasing certain gasses in the air. theres a 50% chance you'll die today from something else, worry about that instead.

Powerfully informative, awesome.. Our new green increased quality of life will be the greatest 'profit'. We must dismantle the corrupt corporations and bad designs of industrial society.

They might not really be lazy. Coal and Oil companies paid scientists 3 million dollars to lie state outright that global warming was a myth. They intentionally confused the american public, delaying the truth from getting out. Instead of calling people lazy, help them understand why they were mislead. Tell them 99% of scientists agree that it is happening and the others are in the pockets of industries who don't want to loose trillions of dollars of business.
Thank you.

go read bill mckibben's article 'when words fail' currently on orion magazine online and for sale. take this number and run with it. i am a total skeptic on cutesy little gimmicks, but this one i think will work, but we have to get the message out there. what if it isn't for real? well, our quality of life will still be better. remember how clear the sky was when the aircraft was grounded after the trade towers? i do. things matter. let's do our part and get our friends and families to 2

I can't stand people who don't believe in Global Warming, or that do nothing about it. I'm a huge environmentalist, and I try to do everything I can to help our environment. We, people, are going to be the death of ourselves if we don't stop.
Thank you so much for posting this.

Anyone who doesn't believe that we impact global climate is ignorant or too lazy to face the truth. There is a 50% chance that all of the ice on the North Pole will melt this summer, something that, as far as our records tell us, has never happened or had such a chance of happening before. Do you think it's just a coincidence that global temperatures and CO2 levels are rising at the same time as the burning of fossil fuels increases? Do a bit of research before you dismiss this so-called "myth". |
