What an ego Paul Shaffer has--demanding that he gets to play along with every musical guest, as if he belongs anywhere near groups from Megadeth to a banjo ensemble. He's funny and entertaining on Letterman, but I wish he'd just let the pros do their thing unmolested by his craving for attention. Kudos to Steve Martin for helping to keep the banjo/bluegrass alive though!

That was amazing! Paul was killer on the piano too. I'd never seen him play that way.

Steve Martin had his volume turned down so as not to be an embarrasment...even though he CAN play pretty good.
