Actually, VOSTFR, I don't really like to think of Megadeth being done, I mean, If Dave mustaine is touring and stuff, to me, I feel as if he's keeping the spirit of Megadeth alive. Thats how I like to think. As a fan, I'm hoping one day the original line-up or most of the original line-up would get back together one day.....I hope.

I do see what you mean ;). But it's like if Paul McCartney called his new album "The Beatles", off course it's their leader, but with Lennon dead it's kind of dumb. Ellefson refused to come again, Menza still has problems, and Poland only stayed for a couple of solos in an album... so Megadeth is kind of empty now.

I wouldn't say That, blowme3587. I mean slipknot is pretty good and all, but can hear some of the lyrics a little clearer. Besides, I'm a huge sucker when it comes to an old-school shredding guitar, ya know. Most new bands nowadays, theres a certain spark new bands nowadays a lacking, I hate to say. But every now and then there comes new certain bands That keep it true and can blow your mind. That, I do believe.

Megadeth never got back... only Mustaine did, but Megadeth without Ellefson is not Megadeth.
