StoneBeliever i agree, there was that bit and the bit about cleanliness is next to godliness that were good but i just dont find this at all funny.

i saw this guy about 8 years ago live. I laughed from the time I sat down til after it was over. My girlfriend didnt want to go as we had to drive 45 min to the next town over and she wasn't a big fan. She started laughing before i did and didn't stop either.

What I find hilarious about this is how people who say things like "LETS SMASH SOME FRUIT!!" get thumbs up all over and the people who are slightly critical get thumbs down or spammed... Maybe it's a testament to the audience of this kind of "comedy"....
--And I know this is going to get spammed or something... Which is highly comedic... I guess its his audience that makes it funny, as opposed to his act...

That was pretty bad... the liquor store one liner was funny, but the rest? There is such little intelligence and effort put into it. Smashing fruit? As a finale? that's pretty weak... There is at least some simple comedy out there that has some merit. But this is a joke in itself - maybe that's the idea, I don't know. |
