Unless it is made by ABBA or the Village People, I have no problem with Disco music.
But I have to say I'm glad the actually theme music in the movies was not played in a Disco beat.

Pretty cool that this is the extended 12" single version. I've heard 3 or 4 different edits. i had the shortest one on a 45rpm when i was 10 back in 1978.
never got the 12" until I found the mp3 on a fileshare thingie.

Ah I see you've restored the original soundtrack, the one that got discarded after Travolta left the project. In the old script, Luke was supposed to save the galaxy by winning the disco contest at the Cantina, but George Lucas decided to save for the sequel and give disco some time to really take off.
