Man,some this songs are 20 Years old n still dope as hell !!! Old School cats like Kane or Slick Rick would kick some rapper´s ass out there today. What a mess they don't come out with some new shit. "The Name is Big Daddy you know as in ya father so when you hear a dope rhyme believe that im the author"

Also there are two samples that are used in this classic masterpiece produced by Marley Marl. Blind Alley from the Emotions and Ain't No Half Steppin from Heatwave. The loop that was used continuously was the piano with the heavy drum pattern. Also the self titled Ain't No Half Steppin was the chorus line from the same group Heatwave used as the insert.

DJ Premier used the Big Daddy Kane voice ad lib "I'm ready" as an insert to the titled cut Inner City Life from the album Group Home Livin' Proof released in 1995. Also K Solo used the Big Daddy Kane voice ad lib "I speak clearly so you can understand put words together like letterman" using the "Letterman" as the scratch and the self titled cut for the song which also has the remixed version produced by Pete Rock as a LP single from the album Time's Up released in 1992.

I can remember taping this on VHS off Yo! MTV Raps and jammin to it all day long. Life wasn't all that bad before MP3's, IPOD's and DVD's and shit. Cassettes and boomboxes were the shit!
