Latest published studies, showing that a low-fat vegan diet can help many patients cut their blood sugars, improve their insulin sensitivity, and reduce, if not eliminate, their medications.

I know very well that the US is one of the only countries that demands and processes meat on such a huge scale compared to other countries, but we often use the land and resources from other countries to do it. If you've ever seen the movie "Earthlings" or "Devour the Earth" you'd quickly see that most of the rainforest land that is cut and burned annually is to feed cattle grain and soy- the vast majority of "cow manufacturers" actually don't feed their cows grass. It's anything but balanced.

You're ignorant because you don't understand that fact that the world doesn't all work like USA. Not every country mass slaughters animals in barbaric ways and sells them in super markets. Truth is you don't know squat past some facts you might have read in a little book or PETA inspired website. And btw, I don't know of rainforests being cut to feed cattle rofl wtf? they eat mostly grass, something that grows and grows thanks to co2 and manure released by cows. It's a balanced cycle.

How am I ignorant? I educate myself on these matters that drive global economies. You could feed the entire world's population to satiation easily if everyone discarded meat. And you'd use less than 1/3 of the land that livestock needs, and it'll eliminate most of the pollution and toxins created from factory farms, rainforest cutting for cattle feed, and the cattle themselves. Telling others and setting a good example WILL make progress. It's too bad you've got your head in the sand. XP

Yes there is you ignorant person. Not everywhere in the world the industry is like in USA. So you can go vegan all you want (it won't change anything) but don't say everyone should follow.

Thank you Russell! I've been vegan for 5 years.

OK. Are you a RAW VEGAN ?
How much protein and source.
I had pre diabetics and changed to a low carbohydrate diet three years ago. I don't see any sense in RAW diets. Humans learnt to cook their food many thousands of years ago. Why should RAW be any better ?

My guess is that ALL VEGANS have a sugar addiction Basically, your food is 80% fruit with heaps of sugar to make VEGAN food acceptable. Good diet to lead to diabetics and cardiovascular disease. Give this sugar addiction a BIG MISS.
Stop making up "idealism" about animal liberation, admit your sugar addiction and give this nonsense a BIG MISS ! |
