There's no prove that the guy killed Tony and will never be. Yes, it's a good theory, but not a fact.

tony rocks,, but i don´t get it,, i mean phil was dead and the families agreed to get along so tony really did´nt have true enemies here and the guy at the bar couldn´´t be a hitman i mean hired by who ...george?? little carmine???anyway in my mind tony lives on with his family

i think the main thing that kinda makes me belive your theory is when he was talking to bobby about dying....it all goes black. the guy getting up to go to the bathroom was ''probably'' going to shoot tony, but honestly...did ANY of us really WANT to see tony die? i'm guessing not...hense the black screen.

The man that is staring at Tony is credited as the "Man in Members Only Jacket".
Theres also an EPISODE of Sopranos called "Members Only" (Season 6 - Ep 66).
In the "Member's Only" episode, Tony actually gets shot.
Heres an excerpt from the Episode 66 recap: "Tony makes dinner while Junior goes to look for his teeth. But the aging wiseguy finds a gun instead, and in a fit of paranoia, shoots Tony in the stomach."
