Wow. From this montage, it's easy to see why the man who could have any woman went into the depths after losing this North Carolina beauty.
Well done.

What do you mean with wishful thinking and visually impaired??
naloracX2 (September 10, 2008 at 1:31 am)
I for one don't live in the past, but one would have to agree classy, beautiful women like Ava, Rita Hayworth and Grace Kelly, et al, are today virtually nonexistent on the big screen (little screen too). There is no end to pretty women that pass as actors today, but beautiful women are few and far between. I watched "Light in the Piazza" today and Yvette Mimieux was as pretty and dazzling as it gets. I watch old films because then they took the time to develop characters and tell a story.

Is that wishful thinking or are you visually impaired?

Wow, that was amazing! She is my number 2 of the most beautiful and best actresses of all time! I love her with long hair in the early 40´s pics, wish there would be a book with hundreds of b/w- pics from that period! But my number one ist German screen legend Romy Schneider, the most beautiful actress ever! Her face was perfect, it´s a pitty that she´s not that well-known in usa as in Europe, especially in Germany and France....anyway, I love Ava and Romy forever! |
