Yes, they are creatures living in the human intestine. As I understand it, in part the joke is about what a stomachache is blamed on--in years past it was blamed upon one thing, whereas now it is blamed on another thing. These "things" are then imagined as gangsters battling over the intestines in a parody of a famous series of yakuza movies.

That would be great, egregiousguy! I remember a few "Horiken Saizu" skits at schools, but I don't recall one in New York! I hope you post it, since I'd love to see it.

i have the horiken saizu and horiken saizu 2 dance somewhere on vhs, i got to find it and upload it :) the horiken saizu one is the one at a NY elementary school

There used to be one of "Horiken Saizu 2" here on YouTube, but I guess it is gone now. I always liked the original "Horiken Saizu" skits better than the "Horiken Saizu 2" skits, myself, but I'd like to see any Warau Inu stuff!
