that's not really right.
all kids had to join the Hitler Youth at the age of 10 and a boy in the HY was called "Pimpf" from the age of 10- 14.
but even at the age of 10 it's insane.
the whole thing was totally fucked up anyway.

I love the song, video's cool, saw them live in 85, my first concert... they opened for OMD, ha ha! great great song that none of my friends get.

"Pimpf" was one of several youth organizations created by the Nazis in Germany. The pimpf organization was for 6 to 10 year olds who were making their way into the Hitler Youth.
Nothing to do with my video version, but that is what I found as an explanation.

Just a bit of fun! It was more that I was working with the Ernie Kovacs clips, and tried to find a piece of music that fit the clip. I liked the "mysterious tension" that the PIMPF song had, so I think it worked pretty well. |
