The commentators is footage from, I think, Here COme The Pain or Just Bring It. One of them had a part in Story mode where the commentators are shown. A cheat code that replaces JR/King or Cole/Tazz in that cutscene with whatever characters you want.
I'm not 100% sure on that, though.
