Yugo Sako traveled to India 60 times and devoted a decade of his life and over $13 million in bringing this immortal story to the big screen.

Since i was a little girl Ive loved the mahabharata. My mother played a rakshasha in the ramayan play. for years every sunday for 2 hours i would sit and watch them act out the ramayan....LOVE IT. nice movie nothing like the hindu version.
