Yes , agree with critic, but awesome music! ther is an other version, wiew on you tube, Live in Warsow , and the soprano is perfect!

Im pretty sure this woman was nervous as hell to be singing live while be conducted by the man who wrote the piece himself!

The problem is it's more vibrato than the part calls for-- much more. Furthermore, when you "vibrate" those quick 8th-notes so fast, it jumbles them into an incoherent mush.
As I said, listen to the original. This woman just sounds like an opera star...but Dell'Orso is a haunted, ethereal spirit, trying desperately to convey to us meaning in some unknown language.

its called vibrato, and Im pretty sure there aren't too many people on this planet that can sing like that! C'mon, you gotta admit she has excellent range!
