to whoever said asian children are forced to play by their parents, that might be true, but not for her.
someone that doesn't truly love music could not play like this.

you are young and have not come to realizeation that you do not have to put others down to make yourselflook good. There are only a few in the world who can even play this piece well enough to perform it. Be happy for her accomplishment.

as far as suwanai is concerned, her parents didn't push her too much seemingly. she wanted to learn violin by herself when she was 2 years old according to an interview on youtube (watch?v=EXPRjr0eAfs), which is in japanese with no sub though.

oh but i do enjoy hte level i play at, infact i have been invited for a scholarship audition for Juliard music school. I myself am asian, and i have witnessed too many asians that have been pushed to practice by their parents.

pushing to the limit while young.... doesn't mean you become mechanical. The fact is most Asians artists are musical.... and playing such concertos in such a young age is beyond ordinary. Enjoyment is subjective. Why dont you just enjoy whatever level you have in playing musical instruments!

too mechanical, typical asian type... parents push them to the limit, they dont enjoy the music
