I'd love to, but I haven't had time to make it out to shoot in a little while. If you get a 5.45, buy as much as you can while it's still cheap.

I've bump fired SKS's and M-14's before, and I do it for target accuracy and also efficiency. Are you planning on making another Bump fire video with the RPK now that you've fixed your trigger group problem? That'd be something I'd look forward to seeing. Cheers.

The RPK-74 is a little easier to bump fire. I guarantee you the RPK you saw was an AES-10B or a Romy kit build in 7.62x39. Bulgarian RPK-74 kits by themselves typically START at $800 just for the kit in horrible shape. Long bursts take quite a bit of practice to be able to do reliably, and honestly, you're just doing it for the noise. A rubber band around the mag and going to the trigger helps. If you control it off of the bipod, you can plink cans, but there really is no utility in doing it.

Ah, I see, you've got a modified trigger job. If I were to bump fire a stock RPK from the prone position without such modifications, do you think I could endure firing longer bursts? I found one at a local show for $800 brand new. Sounds like a fun gun to bump from the shoulder or in the prone position.

No, I was still dialing in the adjustable RSA trigger, sometimes the hammer was riding home and I had to charge it manually as a result.

Nice video. Were your intentions to fire in short bursts, or is it just a hard gun to bump longer bursts with? Cheers.

Read further. It IS an RSA trigger group that I was still dialing in. The thing runs like a raped ape now.

Ok read it. You should either get a Tapco G-2 trigger group or a redstar arms adjustable trigger group.

Do me a favor, read the video description and the comments on this video. Thanks.
