Makes you wonder why, instead of forcing poor Cookie Monster to give up his constant diet of cookies, they didn't just bring this guy back. And, for everyone's information, Cpt. Vegetable came WAY before the "Veggie Monster" incident. Over twenty years before, in fact. Yay Captain Vegetable! :D

this is really depressing... the dumb people killed cookie monster and turned him into vegetable monster, they made it clear that ernie and bert were brothers and not gay, they took out the character "the animal", they changed oscar the grouch to just oscar and the count is not dark and spooky anymore. WE DONT NEED A NEW SESAME STREET WE JUST NEED RE-RUNS OF THE OLD EPISODES kids are supposed to learn from there mistakes if there is no cookie monster and no grouchy oscar the show will be boring
