All religions hold its orgins in primative and tribal pratices due to a lack of understanding of the world. It is nothing more then mass affect. No, those aren't necessarily the people who are but yes some may be. A Christian is defined as having a relationship with God made possible only through the recognized work of Christ. That relationship with God will grow but uniquely, there is no standard to gauge it by and comparing where one person is to another doesn't do justice because a persons relationship with God is as unique as your relationship with a person is from that persons relationship with someone else.

Do you know how many recognized Christian groups/churches are out there in the world now? How can you tell if a recognized one is a cult or a true religion anyway? When you mean Christian values, are you talking about the mindless people who poor into the churches on Sunday and watch raptured as their priest/minister/bishop/deacon talk? The ones who quote scripture then tell you what to believe? Exactly which value are we missing in todays society is causing cults to grow?

This needs to be shown on schools- cults are horribly manipulative vehicles of ego, greed and brainwashing. One of the biggest cults today is the "church" of $ci#ntol#gy- it's crumbling, but has huge reserves of money and real estate, forwarned is forearmed.
