You're totally right! I can speak some French and when I try to translate something into English, it's kind of hard becos sometimes there are expressions that you can't really communicate into English. And ya, being a translator is a hard job, I mean even subtitles in films don't get the exact translation.

You're right, really, about the translator. It's a hard job and I don't get why people are bashing on her.
But saying that German and English are so similar that you can understand one if you know the other is funny. I am Croatian and I learn both at school. They're barely alike. :) |
