http://live.pirillo.com/ - Daimon asks "I have only recently run into your website after watching a few YouTube videos. You have a lot of experience it seems with operating systems for PC's and Mac. What do you look for in an Operating System? What type of User Interface do you prefer looking at a standard Desktop of Linux Beryl?" Chris looks for a variety of things in an operating system.

Linux/Ubuntu is the best because its the most secure it looks the best you even can run windows apps on it using WINE. soon I will also install Ubuntu in Dual boot mode so I can choose in between windows and Ubuntu at startup.

I believe the most popular OS in the pro community is OSX. It's a media creators wet dream with the set of tools you get along with the efficiency of the OS. It's made for ease of use (and no easy doesn't have to mean it's for dumb people or it lack features). Check out your nearest Apple Store and ask the staff about it, they'll more than likely let you mess around in Logic Pro on their MacPro set up in store, which is a professional set up as you may have guessed with the "Pro" bit lol.

They're currently being sued by Apple.
