btw this here should be turkish or lebanese style, it´s more about showing hot women,
sometimes on heels, wabbling with their attributes, egyptians probably consider it
as a perverted style
there are some skilled belly dancers from this
countries though

"the dance originated among women"
Interestingly, many cultures claim to have originated it. Some say it was created exclusively by and for women and danced before marriage or before birth. That in such instances, it was danced bare breasted. Also, that if men appeared at such dances, it would profane a sacred rite.
In other cultures, it was said to be danced by female warriors before they went to battle. For some reason, however, I dont see too much about that anywhere.

There are different theories, but most popularl one that I have heard is that the dance originated among women dancing with and for each other having nothing to do with men or seducing them.
