a figure of speech for- he bears full responsibility for his grave punishment, meaning- he's fully entitled to what was inflicted upon him.

Yep, Asmatsodai, I guess you have a point. All 3 monotheistic are abominable and should be banned. The difference is that these days, if I go around saying something like that, only with Muslims will I lose my head.
Now, Muslims venerate the bible as well and see it as a word of god and afaik- when the quran doesnt tell them what to do- they turn to the bible.
One last thing- the laws you quoted may b cruel but the bible is not as graphic as the quran or hadith: his blood is upon him=

Even the title of this video is a lie. The conflict between Christians and Islam goes back even as far as Mohamed (repentance be upon him) himself writing a letter to the Byzantine Emperor telling him that he would only be safe if he submitted to Islam.
If you want authentic peace. If there is no remembrance, there is no truth. If there is no truth, there is no justice. If there is no justice, there will be no reconciliation. If there is no reconciliation, there will be no lasting peace.

Yet again, you spout your dogma with no thought or comprehension. My point, which you fail to grasp, is that God is supposedly eternal, all powerful, all loving. Regardless of Jesus repealing most of these laws, christians hold that God still made these laws.
Let me simplify these as much as possible. An all loving, all forgiving deity made a law that children who dislike their parents should be stoned to death.
If a criminal repents their crimes, it doesn't mean they never committed them.

The father on our behalf. The old testement was a harsh time and Gods wrath was upon the world.

And you have shown your ignorance about Christianity once again. I swear Asmatsodai your like an abused spouse who keeps comming back for more.
Those were the laws in the time before Christ, when salvation was not attained by faith alone. Sacrifices, rituals ect where how you showed your devotion to and gained forgiveness from God. Then Jesus came, the perfect sacrifice. He took the sin of the world oppon himself. Any sacrifice we could make would be nothing in comparison. He intercedes with: |
