A compilation of short clips recorded from the new Great Planes RealFlight G4 R/C Flight Simulator. The clips with the Edge 580 are with the winds turned up to 50 mph... Flying isn't too hard, but take-offs and landings are a whole new world.

smoke systems?

Chapman flys a CAP not an Edge. G4 inst bad its got good grafix but the big planes fly too much like foamies. With the real thing rudder isnt as forgiving. IMO the closest that any rc sim has come to reproducing what rudder control actually feels like without tweaking the game in the hover is Reflex XTR.

Great flying, and great game

questions like that are what google is for. "realflight put streamers on planes" There ya go lol.

Alright man I got you.. i thought you meant that there was no turbulence and gusting options, I've played G4 at the LHS and I admit it is AMAZING.... but I just believe that FSone has better physics, g4's graphics are ridiculous though

I guess you know better than fliers like Jason Shulman, Frank Noll, and John Glezellis. They are just a FEW for the people that made trainer contributions to G4. Keep in mind that G4 hasn't been out that long. How long since FsOnes physics engine has been updated? BTW, G4 HAS gusting and turbulance options, but as I said in my first reply, they were not USED. That WOULD make this practically impossible

haha FsOne CAN keep up man... the majority of actual sponsored and professional flyers put FSone at the top.. and FsOne has the gusting and turbulence that are in real life.

First of all, only the first portion of the vid is with high winds. Also, once the plane is off the ground, it's no different than flying at/near full throtle. I didn't include the MANY clips of crashing trying to fly like that. It's NOT something I would ever try with an actual plane. The real world includes factors like gusting and turbulance, neither of which is used in these clips. The RealPhysics physics engine in G4 has more options than any other sim. FSOne can't keep up.

sorry but this video really just shows how unrealistic Realflights simulators are..... flying an edge in 50 mph winds would be ridiculous.. would never happen... get FsOne.
