Like anything revolutionary,the Simpsons went against the grain. It wasn't the typical goody too shoes, conservative, blah t.v. that had clogged the airwaves until then. They could get away with more b/c it's a cartoon, yet I still catch myself thinking "Yeh, right he can fall of a cliff and not get killed..." Help. Tex Avery was a pretty good pioneer himself, his were always my fav cartoons in the 70's.

wasy35, perhaps you'd do well to learn how to write and punctuate. Then maybe you can tell a major network (one which kicks everyone's ass in ratings) what to do and how to do it.
