the problem with that is people listen to music because they enjoy it, not to hear a band get all preachy, not saying i dont enjoy a few green day songs(2 of them you listed) but being preachy is not something i particuarly enjoy

You know, I really hate when people say that Green Day needs to stop being so political. Why?? They really only have 4 political songs (American Idiot, Holiday, Minority, Maria). But they are a huge figure. Some people would like to speak their minds, but no one listens. Because of Green Day's fame, many people listen. So in a way, they are our voice. Keep on speaking your mind Billie, Mike Tre!!!
