ok i have a question can somebody plz help me,i have a PalmTreo 700 and the glass that was in between the screen and the touch screen plastic was broken not the screen though only the glass and i completly took off that glass and i put the touch plastic with the screen by it self and now the touch screen doesnt work,do i need to completly change the whole screen or is my phone mest up

Yes!!! I had the same problem. Soteriologist is a genius!!! My LCD ribbon cable had two parallel white lines labeled H and M. I wasn't inserting the cable deeply enough into the socket, leaving both white lines showing. I pressed the ribbon cable about a millimeter further into the socket, leaving only one white line and the M showing after the brown clip is closed. It powered on with no further issues. Now, I may actually replace my scratched up screen.
