5 is just as good as 4. I have an english rom for the snes but since its coming our soon on the DS it may be worth waiting.. Well maybe not waiting sucks..

they are all amazing mate ;) You should definitely play both haha. But this is coming from a fan of the series, so if you're also a fan then definitely get it!

I hope so...I'm tired of having to use an emulator to play this game. The one thing this game did really have though like you mentioned was very diversified monsters- usually they almost always have one to two types of monsters on the field in most DW or DQ games, but jeez..I've had an encounter with 4 types once! Can't wait until they bring it here.

I am certainly sure they will release this splendid game in USA soon because almost the entire fun of Dragon Quest demanded to play it totally in DS(you know business comes first with benefit lol). If they allowed DQ IV to come out then I supposed DQ V will come out here in USA pretty soon too. Moreover, the graphics, diversity of monsters' rate and the attributes of role playing are more enjoyable and entertaining than the usual version in SNES which is certified as one of very best game of DS.

The SNES version is sluggish and slow...I'll admit it's a true DQ classic and I really like it even aside from this facts, but unfortunately since I can't read japanese subtitles I'm hoping they'll release this in the U.S Do you think they should release it over here too?
