It is kinda cryptic...but remember, this was written in the late '60s...you have to wonder what Jimmy Webb was on when he wrote this! :)

Never knew they had a version of this song, and now that I've heard it, I can honestly say I like it much more than either Donna Summer's or Richard Harris's versions.
I always felt that the Three Degrees were one of the most underrated girl groups ever.
