a loud gunshot echoed through the hallway. He ran toward her apartment, lowered his shoulder, and with reckless abandon crashed through the wooden door. He'd found Elizabeth on the couch, bleeding profusely, most of her head splattered on the wall behind her. On the blood-sprayed coffee table in front of her was the answering machine, a ballpoint pen, and several crumpled balls of writing paper. He stood destroyed before her corpse.

I always thought the subtext in the bit where the music went all evil and dramatic where at the after wedding party everyone while running for cover from the November Rain there was a bottle of red wine that fell over symbolizing a shooting - the wife was shot in a drive by.

Great rock ballad, Axl's voice is marvelous... The first guitar solo is also a great piece of art, but the ending is simply stunning! It ALWAYS gives me chills. Beautiful.
