This thing is very sturdy and won't 'break' as easily as some here suggest. Also, this is not an ordinary laptop, it's a notebook. This isn't meant for intensive useage as a normal laptop. Hence you can do without multiple USB-ports and a disc-drive. You can use external disc drives or usb hubs when you need it, but when you're on the road or travelling it's not necessary.

Yes but is it not a pain to have to go and get a USB hub and carry it around?

I'm sure that it's very hard to break. What I'm worried about is the lack of disk drive, USB ports, and most other useful ports.

this Apple is very hard to snap..... Why you may ask that i have droped it about 50 times. and my fat cat thats 20 lb steped on it once. it still works

i'm not sure this laptop would suit my lifestyle. my current laptop has been beaten to death and still works. this wouldn't last a day.
