Black Thought's voice is sooooooo appealing! It has that street vibe to it, with a bit of a gentlemanly twist to it:) Very hot! Great song! One of my favorites from The Roots!

The Roots are innovators! Artists of such caliber are hard to find. Truly, one in a billion! This track has "soul" written all over it. Erykah Badu is one of the originators of the whole "soul Hip-Hop" movement, so it's only right to assume that a joint composed of her singing would only be smashin' and nothing less. Eve's part in the middle is off the charts! The girl's got game!

They have constituted so much in shaping the state of Hip-Hop and making it even more magnificent, without asking much in return. They are one of the very few groups who have fans and admirers ALL over the world, yet, have such limited mainstream success. I LOOOOOOOOVE that about them. Had it been that they were too busy runnin' for that paypa (but still with the same lyrical and rhyming abilities), I'm sure I wouldn't have loved and respected them the same way that I do now and always did.

Hard-to-tha-core! I would love you all 'till the very end! The Roots: one of the most influential, creative, artistic and overly original groups in the entire Hip-Hop universe! One of the very few artists that I turn to every time I want to remember that TRUE Hip-Hop existed ONCE. One can get so sick with all the new crap out these days that it feels so comforting to turn back to something that actually makes sense and is intended for a purpose. Respect and only respect!
