the only reason I prefer lucas over ness is ness has a slow forward smash, and lucas has a farther traveling recovery that is harder to guard

Ness has an awesome grab game and the bat is not just a good KO move, it also reflects projectiles.

I didn't say what rank they are I said who was stronger. I pieced togher the players guide information and tried the characters out in Bralw and found out who was strong and who was weak.

ness is not weak he's the 9th srongest character in the game, lucas is the 10th strongest.

I totally wanna play this game, it looks so fun, but I keep playing melee, and ness is one of my favorite characters on that game, next to zelda/sheik
