Some artists sang live to pre-recorded music tracks, but most lipsynched on the show. Loved this show as a kid, though that puppet "Madame" creepy me out big time.

LOL!I didn't know anyone who did either.Video recs were a luxury then,for the rich people!LOL!We longed to change our TV to a coloured one.Kids are so lucky today.Bless you!

We are Family was the song the Phillies used during the World Series, right? I think I remember this fact, even though I was only 7 or 8 years old at the time.

They aired this a few times and it was my only chance to see Blondie's Heart of Glass. Couldn't afford a video recorder (didn't know anyone that could). |
