damn it! My parents got a MAC and if iMovie sucks, im screwed! I love making AMVs and have been using WMM for years now, and i've come to love it...wth am i gonna do now? -.- this blows.

They did it for business reasons. Make more money if you have to pay for the features. Plus the typical consumer does not want alot of control.

THANK YOU. I just got a new Macbook and was SO excited 2 b able to use iMovie. I had been using Windows Movie Maker previously, and gee whiz I thought THAT was shitty. First off, iMovie doesn't support AVI or MPEG files, and WMM DOES. So strike 1, iMovie! Strike 2, I opened it up and find myself completely stumped. WHERE IS THE TIMELINE?! This shit is so user friendly that I can't even fricken figure it out n I've used FCP for about a year now @ school! I guess it's back to Windows Movie Maker..

COMBINE THE TWO..please apple do it. I'd really appreciate it. It'd make my editing SOOOO much better and eliminate me having to decide what I want to sacrifice in my video. |
