how exactly do you know her house is powered by oil? how do they use oil to make movies? i dont recall readin about oil in film production. if they dont use a plane, how are they supposed to go to and from places across the nation. people need to quit slammin celebs whenever they try to do somethin good. its fuckin annoyin. if its so hypocritical, why dont YOU spread the word? oh yeah, cuz noone would listen to a nobody. so quit bitchin and let the celebs promote, people will listen to them.

She is a nice lady but why do Hollywood personalities, who us more oil than a small nation try and convince us to go green. Think about how much oil it takes to put on a TV show or a Hollywood Film-millions of gallons of oil. I have a great idea-Hollywook quit flying in planes that are run on oil-you know that terrible George Bush oil that you hate) quit using oil to cool and heat your mansions,. quit giving interviws because of the mass amount of paper it takes to produce papers and newspapers

Yeah I remember Darryl Hannah from last year society for petroleum engineer's conference in Anaheim. I'm pretty sure she was there to research modern hydrocarbon stimulation methods. She was undoubtedly trying to study all forms of energy delivery in order to carefully weigh the pros and cons of each (nuclear, natural gas, solar, wind, cow fart..etc..) Well, I guess after a thorough analysis she decided on solar energy. End of discussion.

Solar and wind are the only never ending resources. With the advances made in solar power, solar is the cheapest and most viable resorce. Come on America, do you care about your grandchildren? You are a selfish, self gratifying people. Come on GWB, get out of bed w/ big oil. WTF?
